Veteran's Day Concert

I’m excited to announce a very special opportunity for some of our fifth graders. The Ringgold High School Band performs a fantastic Veteran’s Day concert every year, and this year we have been asked to participate. The concert is Thursday, November 9th at Ringgold High School. All the elementary schools that feed into RMS and RHS will be participating, and because of my        relationship with the band (I work with their drumline) Mr. Tracy Wright asked if we wanted to join.  I will be taking up to ten 5th grade students that can meet the following requirements:

· YOU must provide your own transportation to RHS immediately after school on the 9th (starts at 3:30). We will have a practice with the other elementary schools and the RHS band at 3:30. As soon as the rehearsal is over you can take them home to get ready and eat, or stay in Ringgold and eat and change into your clothes at RHS. The concert starts at 7:00 and our part is at the beginning, so we’ll need to be back at RHS ready to go at 6pm.

· Must wear the proper clothing. No exceptions!!  Black pants and a white dress shirt (button down or polo style). We will wear our red WSE vests, but the band and chorus from the high school will be in tuxes, so we need to look sharp.

Any other questions please call me at school or email me at
